Top row is made with a repeated gradient, the bottom with a gradient of steps at every even percent of the distance. At 0.48 inkscape the bottom line renders in only 1024 breaks of the colours. No matter how many new steps are added to the gradient, or if the steps are repositioned, it still won't make more number of the colours. In the default gnome image viewer it renders fluently, but browsers also have rendering issues gradient rendu test Gradient rendering test
On the left, steps are placed exactly at 50%, while on the right they are at 50,1 gradient rendu test Gradient rendering test
Inner step moves with even % distances in each line, however in 0.48 inkscape it seems equally distorted on the right side, where the gradient step distances are below 50 gradient rendu test Gradient rendering test
Gradient rendering test image. There seems to be a rendering issue when the steps are too close to eachother. Is it the renderer, or is it the svg's implementation? Rendering seems stuck when the steps are not matching the % values. Even worse, when steps get closer to eachother gradient rendu test Gradient rendering test
